Welcome

As a statistical ecologist, my research focuses on applying statistical methods to ecology-driven questions, particularly related to rare or declining species, as well as economically important species for which management responses are unclear. I evaluate historical survey techniques, experimental design, and viability analysis, while also testing and validating novel statistical methods to develop objective-based questions.

I work with diverse teams to answer complex questions related to the highest biological priorities in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service – Region 2. My publications cover a range of topics, including fish and wildlife management, conservation biology, survey and experimental design, advanced linear models, Bayesian analysis, simulation modeling, and time series models. Additionally, I provide examples of regression, probability, and statistical inference.
